Backstreet Gallery and Gallery 43 were
pleased to present our Mardi Gras
show for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity
of Westchester's New Orleans rebuilding
fund. The silent auction ended on Sunday
March 5 with great success. The reception
on Fat Tuesday, February 28 from
7:30-10:30 was attended by over 150
guests. 29 works were donated by
well-known artists including Faith Ringgold,
Gilbert Fletcher, Robin J. Miller. and
several others, and they were all here to
sign their latest books as well. And, there
was great cajun food courtesy of Gallery
Cafe, and jazz courtesy of Judie Marie
Canterino.
