Designated a “New Rochelle Featured Business” with over 20 years of good will and experience in downtown New Rochelle, Backstreet Gallery is looking to take on a partner.

For the past few years, I have not been able to be fully involved in the business due to family health issues and civic commitments. Therefore, the company has only been open by appointment, resulting in reduced sales. I am looking for a partner to manage the gallery with an eventual path to full ownership.

Located in the Renaissance district of downtown New Rochelle, a city with a vibrant and diverse population and a history of welcoming the arts and artists, it is the only custom framing business. With 30 new high-rise buildings just opened or being built within a 4-block radius, there will be 10,000 new residents with wall space to decorate in the next two years. One block from the Metro North train station, across the street from the popular Public Library and Library Green (used for community and music events throughout the year), and adjacent to a main public parking lot, it is ideally located in the heart of the city.

This well-known business has a substantial and unique art inventory and is known for quality custom framing of all types as well as large format printing on archival paper and canvas. It has excellent relationships with the top industry suppliers and with local artists and collectors.
